WOYWW 293

Happy New Year everyone!  Thought I would join in as I am inbetween projects - this is my desk as of 6am this morning (left this way from yesterday) and there are no prizes for guessing what I have been up to!

I am organising an Eclectic Elements blog hop next month (details on post below if you fancy joining in but you will have to be quick as its only three weeks away) so I have done a project for that which I finished yesterday and then today I am going to put all this away (well the sewing machine and pin cushion basket at least) and hopefully get inky and messy - something I haven't really been in the mood to do for a while but I am starting to get the itch again now - all very exciting!  Although knowing me I will just get on with knitting my next pair of socks which have been my latest addiction for a while now.

If  you want to know why I am showing my messy desk to the world the pop over to Julia's and see lots of others too and even join in if you fancy.  There is something quite nice about revealing the state of the desk to the world and realising that so many others out there live in the same chaos too!

Thanks for looking - one project sewn up and two to go from Solihull

Nothing like an itch to get you scratching and once you start scratching you should come up with lots of ideas.
Good luck with the Hop - won't be joining in as I am not at home at the moment.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx

It doesn't matter what you do as long as you are enjoying the time doing it. Very interesting desk thanks for sharing.

WOW! Your sewing machines looks space-aged compared to the old relics I own!
I've been feeling the same way about getting some cards made, so
Time to scratch that itch!!

Very busy looking desk. I really need to get my sewing head on but the joys of not having a dedicated sewing area really puts me off. Anita #66

That's right show your desk...be proud, but honestly it doesn't look that messy.

Sometimes we just need to take a break to get that itch back don't we, so I'm glad it's coming back for you and you enjoy your messy craft. Can't wait to see what you create.
Have a good week.

Hello Sunshine Girl!

The quilt piece in the background looks really nice. We can't ignore those itches, can we!

I've used photos from my phone for my blog but I don't know how to resize them - or crop them. Do you do that?

Thanks for visiting me already!
Happy belated WOYWW

I have actually missed sewing this past year or two. Have made amends though and joined a quilt block swap and about to send of my first completed block. The recipient gets to choose the colours and the sender the block pattern. wonder how long I can keep it up for.Lol. hugs Mrs A.
