WOYWW 66

Well I failed miserably at getting around to all the desks last week - managed about 60 I think!  Oh well better luck this week I hope!

Here is my desk as of yesterday afternoon when I was just finishing off my day 6 entry for Learn Something New Everyday (yes a day behind I know!)

As you can see my bunting now has pride of place over my desk, the Tim Holtz feet are still in the pack, mini suitcases still not done, a wet wipe has been left precariously close to some finished artwork (does anyone else do this?  and do you always tell yourself when the artwork has ended up on top of the wet wipe that you won't do it again??? I know I do!!) and just to the left of the picture (you can't see it) is a pile of bits of pieces and when I looked yesterday I found two "Back to School" cards half done - which, considering my two boys went back last Thursday, I don't think I will be finishing them anytime soon - honestly mind like a sieve!

If you would like to come along and join in the fun visit Julias so that we can all have a nosey at your desk too!  Thanks for looking and looking forward to all your comments and will hopefully be visiting you all this week.

You say potato, I say ... You say bunting and I say banner. Now I know what they are. And this one is cute as a bug's ear (how cute is that?).

I don't use wet wipes, but should. MY problem is, I pick up my finished project with glue, paint, or gesso all over my hands. So, not sure which is better. happy WOYWW.

The bunting looks great. And yep, bits of card and finished stuff with wet wipe tide marks - easily done, but infuriating!! And the back to scholl stuff too - I would be the same, good intentions, but a real life!

Step away from that wet wipe.. been there done that... and ruined quite a few bits of artwork .... well in my case it's usually water from rinsing off my brayer and not drying it properly, come back to the desk, drippy brayer in hand and drip on the finished project. Thanks for the snoop round, you have a fab desk.

What a lovely Banner you have made. I use wet wipes and also do the same as you but now put a flower or something else to hid the damage. Or cut out the bit thats not and decoupage it on another. I hate throwing things away he he. Have a lovely day, Hugs JO.xxx

Yes, I too have a problem with where I set down the wet wipes, so I have resorted to keeping by my table a small ceramic dish where I now deposit the current wipe in all its wetness.

Don't leave the wipe near it, I tend rather to spray ink or water onto any nearby project...when will I learn? That and embossing powder (or glitter) that goes everywhere and gets on everything...

love the desk however it is not as messy as some who have entered the messy scale so sorry you have dropped to 5/10 on the messy scale but at least you have mess, unlike me who is so darn tidy

thanks for the very belated snoop, due to blogger errors
