All sewn up

Just a flying visiting from me today as I need to tidy up before the school run, so firstly a big thank you to CraftyWomble and Marjo for following me - welcome to my little world!
So did I spend the weekend outside making the most of the fabulous weather we have been having? Nah of course I didn't instead I finished this:

His name is Horace - isn't he adorable, and here is a view of his beautiful tail too:

Pattern was taken from a book called "The Artful Bird" by Abigail Glassenberg and the materials used were plain canvas and a charm pack I had lying around.

Thanks for looking :)

How could I have missed spotting your owl!!! He is one hunk of gorgeous feathers. Love him to bits. Can't lay claim to my sewing machine cover as it was a swap I was in. (I got the short staw on my partner as her machine was a whopping great big embroidery machine that she wanted me to make a cover for and I had to send it to USA. Stangely enough it had a hidden door on it with an owl behind.!!!) Hugs Mrs A.
