WOYWW 128

Morning everyone - here is my desk on this very cold and dark morning:

think I might go back to photographing my desk on an Tuesday afternoon next time!  Promarkers are out as I have made a baby boy card to fit in with my fortnightly challenge - details here if you are interested in joining in!
Papers are out to hopefully inspire me to do another quick and simple layout - although these papers do all the work for you they are quite hard to use though - I am definately a sheet of plain cardstock and ink/paint it up girl at heart really!  Other than that its much the same as normal with my other new seasonal inks there (yes I caved in and treated myself to both sets - decided that I actually use my inks more than anything else so as I had spare money left over from my trip to Hobbycrafts at the NEC I thought I would spend it wisely on something useful!).  Have had a busy week mainly sewing and knitting and the only papercrafting I have done is the card you can just see peeking out on the right - will blog that when baby is born and I can complete the tag with the name!

If you would like to join in with the addictive Wednesday fun of showing your desk off to the world and then going and peeking at lots of others then pop over to Julias and join in the fun.  Not sure how many desks I can get round to this week as my Nan is in hospital but I am hoping to catch up with a few of you.

Thanks for looking :)

Can't believe you're using pink papers!!!!

Pink papers again - what is happening to you?. So are the winter inks worth it - I'm still waiting for mine to arrive, not that I will find time to use them yet anyway!

I am having the same problem "dark photos" so you are not alone. Wonderful collection of markers. Your first portrait class looks like it went well.

I think I'd better make a new place for my Promarkers, they do get scattered, and your boxes at the back there look ideal! I could do with some old ink let alone the new ones!! Happy WOYWW!!

Hate dark days -so depressing but I guess it keeps us indoors and crafting so can't be all bad. I have the autumn inks but not the winter ones - yet.

Thanks for sharing. Think I need to adopt the approach of quick and simple layouts so I can get through my mega pile of scrapbooking. Hope your nan gets well soon.

Your desk looks great, lots of lovely goodies on it!

Your comment about my painting being fabulous and you hoping you can paint like me one day made brightened my morning, thanks for the kind words.

All the best with your art course, keep me up to date with your progress!

It IS addictive isn't it?

You asked what a stamp image was on my desk-it's actually a dress form, upside down. If you want to see it used, look here.
See you at next week's WOYWWED!

I just love those papers that your about to play with, absolutely beautiful but then again judging by your post above it sounds like you got a little waylaid.

Hi there Sunshine - thanks for popping over to my blog and for saying hi - and yes agree with you on papers doing too much a quenching the creative spirit!

I cannot believe how many Promarkers you have - I have 36 and thought that was pretty bad but know some folks really do have heaps and think you must be up there - have other markers too and use them all together when colouring also use chalks when colouring too depends on colour intensity.. happy WOYWW! For being number 1 this week, I'm awfully late visiting. I'm so sorry I'm late, but, after a computer crash I had to stop by and get a bit of inspiration from your ProMarkers. At least that's what I saw first this week. Not the pink papers! Love your style, though.
