WOYWW #56

So you wanna know whats in the boxes eh? You are a nosey lot!  Ok then are you ready for this:

this is a work in progress and so is empty! well apart from the bits of card that I cut from the original 12"x12" sheet just in case I need matching tags!

This is a noteset that I made in a workshop a few weeks ago - contains thank you cards.

Again another work in progress as it needs a "thing" in the middle just not sure what the "thing" is yet (will probably be a tag!) and in this box I keep a flower disaster (to remind me not to make a flower using acetate glued onto card - it doesn't work!), my flower necklace that I have made but am too embarassed to wear and a few other flowers that I will use one day.

My bia box that contains absolutely nothing! if you can think of anything I can store in there let me know!

My box made from our crop kit contains my alcohol inks!  Dont have many do I :(

Another work in progress as I am not sure what to do with this just yet (by that I mean should I paint it, ink it or cover it in papers?) and inside the bigger one is the smaller one! which contains nothing, but has been gessoed!
And last but not least (as its my fav!) is my suitcase box, which may be turned into a class holding a travel book at our weekend crop in August - watch this space!, and in this is a pile of flowers and tags!  Glad I looked now as I wondered where I had put them!

And if you have stayed with me this far then this is what my desk looks like today:

Not much has changed as I dont think I have sat at my desk and made anything this week!  Had our crop last Sunday so I made a card there and other than that I have been busy organising the school summer fayre which is this Saturday (wish me luck!).  So a few things have been moved and a pile of bits added so its a little bit messy but only messy in the fact that I have dumped stuff on there its not a creative mess!
Thanks for looking :) I will try and get round to as many desks as I can but it is summer fayre week so its all a bit manic here!

now that's a good idea - keep the things that DONT work - as reminders - I must admit I tend to throw them away and move on and try a new technique - but this is a really cool idea to have pretty places to put the 'uglies', absolutely beautiful work
