WOYWW 129

It seems strange posting this picture as I took it yesterday afternoon and what I am working on is actually now finished and on the blog post below!  Oh well - at least the photo was taken in daylight and you get a gist of what I am/was doing:

today I will probably start my Christmas cards if I get time.  This is actually a very tidy desk for me and its even tidier now that my advent calendar is already proudly on display in my lounge (there is a really big reason for that which I am very excited about!) although I do now need to fill it with goodies - might just go for the easy option of chocolate as lego mini figures would be a tad expensive!

If you want to join in the fun and have a lovely peek around the world of desks out there in big wide world then pop over to Julias and join in all the fun!

Thanks for looking and have a great week :)

Lots of creating on your desk. I think the chocolate option is best way tastier then lego.

I LOOOOOVVVVVEE that gorgeous snowmany-roboty-full of chocolatey- advent calendar. My sons would give their eye teeth for one of those!!! It's slightly bonkers, but fantastic. You are so clever, I just wouldn't have the patience.
I'm on a mission to find Union Jack material in Salisbury - after I dose Julia up with very strong coffee. 9am's not too early, is it?? Lol.

The advent calendar is awesome. I had a look back and really enjoyed the snowman and the "lantern." Camouflage never looked so good!

Thanks for stopping by earlier, and to answer your question, the dresses were part of a year long (once a month) project last year. Each participant had access to the pattern, and I made mine so they were visible and decorated from both sides. I used a combination of fabric and paper on the project, but each substrate began with cardstock. Thanks for asking.

I looked back at yesterdays post and that is one stunning advent calendar, used to love the anticipation of those things every day in the build up to Christmas. You make me want one again!

Loving the birdcage :) And the advent calendar (chocolate is ALWAYS a good choice). Mine is still a jumble of partially finished boxes, and I don't think I'll get back to it. Maybe next year :)

Thanks for sharing - love the snowman. Got to ask - what's the name of the tape dispenser on your desk and where do I get one from (I feel I should really know this already). It would save me loads of time sitting peeling the backing tape off my double sided tape!

Love your snowman advent calendar! I'm panicking to get mine done for next week - I do have all the goodies to go in it (actually them because I have 2!) you seem to have done yours really quickly but it looks fabulous! Enjoy your week x

Sorry, forgot to tell you - the rooftop stamp (and there is an even better one on the plate) is Bah Humbug 1 by Sheena Douglass. Hugs, Neet #12

What a desk full of goodies you have there. Your snowman advent is just inspired. I loved the front but when I saw all the boxes behind, well it was love! I want one!!!!
Definitely think chocolate is the way to go though.
Don't worry, I rarely do housework either which is why it was newsworthy today!

Wow, your snowbot is an amazing piece of work. I agree about the price of the Lego - but it would make a lovely treat in the occasional draw! Love the birdcage lamp you gave him, great ideas gal.

We've filled 24 envelopes of wonderful things to do (which happen to include their nativity plays and Christmas parties ;-)) I love the design of your blog and I spy a yellow monster on your desk - snap!

Morti said...

LOL - nice tidy desk indeed! As for the advent calendar, why don't you do both - just put in a couple of minifigs? Or at least, put one in for Christmas Eve! I'm going to do something similar for Lil Miss B, but it's going to involve earrings....

The Feeling were brilliant by the way - I'd recommend going to see them!
