WOYWW 51

Morning everyone,

I have to confess I wasn't going to join in this week as my mojo was on fire the end of last week and the weekend - for the first time ever my children were happy to entertain themselves during the last couple of the days of the holidays so it left me time to get on with crafty things and I did loads of sewing! will blog more about that later - anyhow yesterday I got the house to myself and my mojo mysteriously disappeared! How annoying - instead I spent most of the day sat on the settee doing some hand embroidery whilst catching up with the all the crime dramas I had taped over the holidays - how lazy!  Still I am hoping for  better things today....

Here is my desk with everything just dumped on it so no specific project at the moment:

Yes the table runner is new, that was just one of last weeks creations and its embroidered on the back too!  Mannequin is new - a great find for £3.99 in B&M bargains can't wait to pimp her up!  That lovely tin from Paperchase holds all my buttons, that plastic bag is a little giveaway as I am two posts away from 300!  The material piece to the left is a new project I am working on I think its called crazy quilting - not sure - anyway that was the one that stumped me yesterday - I got all all my buttons and ribbons to funk it up and kind of lost interest - hopefully that wont last.

Thanks for joining me again this week - if you too would like to join in the fun of sharing your desk with the world pop over to Julias.

Can I just also say a big hello to Scrapfanaatpeter - thanks for following me :)

Thanks for looking - Rained in from Solihull

I have one of those Mannequins but mine is probably taller - from The Range ages ago and still naked. Tut tut!
Hope mojo comes back soon - nice to have a relaxy day though.

Well you certainly have plenty to keep you going there! Looking forward to seeing what you do with your mannequin x

Great desk and I love your new table runner. It's so British :-) It's amazing that our inspiration can disappear in a few seconds. I hate that too. Mostly I take some other small jobs, just like you do. I'm working on a small hexagon patchwork now. Hope you find some inspiration today with all our desks. Happy WOYWW. xFranka

Well sunshine gal - rained in or not - that runner is FAB! My goodness you're prolific! Your mojo will be back, it just has to adjust to having the place to itself again - so fickle!!

Wow, that table runner is awesome!! Better hide it or Julia might snaffle it - she's got a thing about Union jacks!! I am amazed by your ability to quilt, wish I had the patience...

Isn't that just the way of things. When you have time on your hands, Mr Mojo slopes off. I hope he returns pronto.

I hate it when you have the time but not the inclination! Love the runner, did you make it yourself?

I have a rainy day all to myself but I can't really be bothered to do any crafting so I think I'll just get creative with some hair dye!

My mojo is very tempermental so I can relate to your plight.
It just likes to show us who's boss!
I think to sit and relax is a good ploy ~ that'll make it think you're not bothered and he'll return pronto :D

Thanks for your visit. I think we may have the same addiction of starting several projects and jumping back and forth some times. I am trying to focus on getting just one completely done and off my mind. We'll see how that goes. LOL

What a fab table runner and so appropriate for this year! Its so annoying when your mojo runs off with the children isn't it? I always find the same thing, if they are in my face then my mojo is in my pocket but if they go off to play then it seems to go with them! #36
