WOYWW 150

Chaos!
start of a dresden plate quilt on the left hand side there so a bit of sewing going on, some new ribbons on the right from a fabulous little stall find in Wolverhampton market, I am testing out some new sizzix dies I have bought for the crop and preparing the next class layout so a bit of allsorts going on today! (well yesterday afternoon in the light but the desk still looks roughly the same this dark rainy morning!).

If you would like to see why I am baring my chaotic mess to the world then pop over to Julias and join in all the fun of her weekly desk blog hop.
A big hi to Kaz - thanks for following me :)

Thanks for looking - hoping to get a bit tidier today from Solihull

Lovely busy desk this morning. Have you used the telephone die yet? I keep wondering whether to get it or not. Just not sure what it will come out like with the dial and things.
Hope you post one cut out soon.

Oh you must have soooo much patience to do quilting...I just know I am not meticulous enough to line everything up so exactly and neatly. The colours you've used are really lovely, my favourite blues! That stall in the market sounds like a find, I'm jealous!

So much to see this week and I love the dresden plate quilt you are doing. Something I would like to get into myself but my sewing machine is some 30 years old and needs two men and a donkey to lift it on to the table.
Thanks for dropping by my desk earlier.

Thanks for the snoop. I love all the fabric items on your latest post - don't worry about"disaters" - that's all part of the fun!! I made a lovely bottle green cord skirt once (a long time ago!) I cut the front out with the nap going one way and the back with it going the other way so when I joined them together it looked as if they were made from different coloured fabric!! hey ho - live and learn!! x Jo

Hiya

thanks for your visit to my blog. Do I spy some Union Jack ribbon on the right of your desk (left in the photo)... I bought quite a bit of it at the weekend... MCS factory just down the road from me (2 minutes in the car) and there were loads from the Jewel Britannia collection - have you got a project in mind for yours...

The sewing of a quilt sounds quite ambitious - sorry it didn't turn out as you wished (read a later post)... I'm sure that you will get it perfect next time. ;o)
