WOYWW 161

Hello everyone,

I haven't joined in for a while - not at all through June due to holidays, birthdays, school stuff and such fun.  But I have had a couple of quiet days this week so I have been getting on with some more sewing (it's my in thing at the moment!) and little ones sports day has been cancelled this morning (due to the weather!) which has freed up a couple more hours for me so I have come along to join in and have a nose at some of your desks (hoping for some crafting inspiration here!).

Here is my desk this morning (yes can finally take photos on a morning and not the day before because the light is ok this time of day isnt it):

Am sewing a bag using some lovely Alice In Wonderland materials I have been hoarding stroking for a while now.

If you want to join in the fun and have a mooch at other crafters desk (which is actually very  addictive!) then pop over to Julias and join in the fun too.

Thanks for looking - Should really be going to the gym and not sewing from Solihull

Maybe it's the time of year :-) I'm sewing more too, only making cards when needed. Great sewing machine and hope you show the bag when it's finished. I'm looking for nice pattern of quilted bags. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a crafty week. Bye, Franka #34

Interesting that we all, no matter what the craft, hoard. I sense and new reality show - Craft Hoarders! - coming to a telly near you!

Alice in wonderland material now that sounds interesting, I will be back to see what you have created. I read the other post about the torch, congrats it is awesome to experience. I get people like yourself all the time wanting to take photos of the broadcasting trucks and i think it is strange, but I think I need to step back and look at it from another direction. I think working with broadcasting every week, just takes the thrill out of it. LOL

See you again soon happy sewing.

Nice to see your machine out. As for LLJ's comment I would be too scared to show mine as I do have a fair bit in several places! I have been good and not bought for a while but with NEC next month. Are you going? Shall we try and meet up? I will be there Thursday and Friday. Let me know.

Nice to see you back Nicola, glad things have calmed down a bit and you can get back to your crafty endeavours! Shame about the Sports Day being cancelled, crap weather all round this year! Doesn't bode well for the Olympics does it! Talking of which, loved the pic below of you holding the torch!
